ProTools 8, Macbook Pro, Digi 003 Rack, M-box 3, Focusrite ISA-One, Sytek 4 channel preamp with 2 Burr Brown inputs, Focusrite Octopre 8 channel preamp.
Several high quality studio microphones including: Neumann TLM-103, AKG-414, Audio Technica 4041, AKG-3000, AKG 1000 and Shure SM-7b, SM-57 & SM-58. I can simultaneously record up to 16 tracks. Additional equipment is available upon request.
Jim Manfre started playing guitar in a band in 1965 (at age 13) and has been in the music business since 1972. His music industry career included 25 years as an award winning sales and marketing representative at the Warner Bros. Music Group (Warner-Elektra-Atlantic) and 2 years at MCA Records. He has been credited as Executive Producer on 5 nationally distributed and highly reviewed albums. Jim has taught “Marketing your Music” classes at Harper College in Palatine, IL and has spoken at Elmhurst College.
Proteus Music Productions is independently owned and operated by Jim Manfre, providing mobile recording services in the Chicago area. Proteus Music Productions is also known as Manfre Music Productions.

The whole process was so easy and enjoyable, and honestly one of the best unexpected surprises from the already wonderful experience Jamie had from participating in Schaumburg Idol. Jim Manfre from Proteus Music Productions facilitated this at his home. We arrived at his home not knowing what to expect but were both pleasantly surprised by the ease and enjoyability of the whole process.
